Ingredients
4 Golden Kings All Rounder Potatoes
1/2 red pepper
1/2 white onion
2 spring onion
1 red chilli
1-2 garlic cloves
1-2 tbsp cooking oil
For the seasoning:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground white pepper
1 tsp Chinese Five Spice
1/4 tsp chilli powder
Method
- Slice Golden Kings All Rounders into chips (about 1cm thick)
- Soak the chips in water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry before drizzling with oil
- Air fry for 10 minutes at 200°C (or a conventional oven for 20 minutes)
- Whilst your potatoes are cooking, thinly slice the red pepper and onion
- Once the chips are starting to soften and brown, add the pepper and onion to the tray, shake together and return to the air fryer for a further 10 minutes (or conventional oven for 20 minutes)
- Finely chop the spring onion, chilli and garlic
- For the seasoning, mix the salt, pepper, five spice and chilli powder
- Add the chilli, garlic and seasoning to the chips and mix well, returning to the air fryer for 5 minutes (oven 10 minutes) – until the chips are golden brown and cooked throughout
- Serve with a sprinkling of spring onion
